I come from a family of acupuncturists, my father started the British Acupuncture Association (which has now evolved into the UK’s main regulatory body).  Consequently, acupuncture and integrated medicine have always been a part of my life.  I trained in Traditional Acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture (the oldest college in Europe, affiliated to Oxford Brookes University).  I have competed my licentiate and gained a first class honours degree under clinical supervision.

I have also completed a specialist course on pain relief – used extensively in the Armed Services.

I currently serve on the Governing Board of the British Acupuncture Council. I am also the Regional Group Coordinator for Northamptonshire.
