I have been in the health and well being industry now for 16 years. During this time, I have worked in a very busy health spa helping clients to improve their general wellness. I have learnt so much during these years, from the importance of good nutrition to the right amount of exercise etc.
During these years I found the biggest challenge was finding balance. I was an all or nothing kind of girl – either really good or really bad. One week I would be super good with the right food and exercise, the following week I would blow it and drink too much wine etc.
My biggest lightbulb moment came on the back of an NLP coaching session with a lady I met a few years ago. Through different coaching exercises, brainstorming and nlp/hypnotherapy techniques, I came away a very different and much improved Debs. I was blown away with the positive impact it had and continues to have in my life, that I had to train in these powerful techniques…
I am now 51 years old and living a healthy and balanced life. I have to put work in daily to be ‘My Best Me’ but that’s ok – its worth the effort… I know that I can have the odd glass of wine and not feel guilty and get back on track the next day and not the next week.
